Private Partnership Scheme

Yellow Ribbon Singapore (YRSG) facilitates private enterprises to set up business operations in prisons under the Private Partnership Scheme (PPS).

The private enterprises provide work-training opportunities and possess the technical expertise to run the day-to-day operations, while YRSG and the Singapore Prison Service manage the rehabilitation and discipline of inmates.

YRSG works with these private enterprises to provide inmates the opportunity to undergo training and learn on the job from workshop supervisors. Through such work-training opportunities, inmates gain core competencies such as teamwork, quality control and communication skills, as well as the work experience to take on related roles after their release.

YRSG works with companies that are aligned with our mission and vision. Together, we upskill and provide inmates the relevant soft skills training and work experience to help increase their employability potential.
